Andrew - one of the 12 disciples of Jesus - and who's feast is commemorated today, was the first called by Christ. Being the first at anything is a challenge. Being the first to follow a religious leader who didn't promise roses and profits was a ticket to being committed to an institution. Andrew was the first, standing against violent opposition by keeping committed to the Prize.
